We have a great team here at the farm for breaking babies, in 2014/15 we sent horse in to Marco Botti, John Gosden, William Haggas, Roger Varian, Henry Candy, Richard Hannon, Sir Michael Stoute, Richard Fahey, Luca Cumani, Sir Mark Prescot, Ed Walker and C. M. Head.

For clients that wish their youngsters to stay longer then we offer a pre-training service. This takes them along a little further than simply breaking in, legging them up ready for trainers to go right along with. This is something we do in close communication with trainers and tailor the exercise to their exact requirements.

We offer lay-up services all year around at the farm, anytime your runners need a little break or some grass we are geared up to receive them. We can also leg the horses back up so they are ready to rejoin the string on their return if required.

We have had great success here at nursing horses back from injury, Jamie’s wife Roz who manages the farm spent 10 years in the US as a surgical vet tech to one of the top orthopedic surgeons in California.

Many agents choose to send their recent purchases to Jamie and employ his training expertise to ensure their horses arrive in the States in great shape or even ready to run off the plane. Obviously with Jamie’s experience and connections he is perfectly positioned to liaise directly with the new trainers in the US and understands exactly the requirements needed. With his proven track record of training high value winners in America he is well trusted to take care of these shippers.

In 2015 we take our first small step into the Breeze-Up sales market under the banner of R.M.M Bloodstock. The banner refers to Robbie Mills who has consigned previously to the sales, Robbie and Jamie will prepare the hoses together at the farm. With Robbie’s prior experience he sole responsibility at the sales, allowing Jamie to focus on his bloodstock with Marco Botti.
